Spantik is an excellent introduction to high altitude mountaineering. The south west ridge route is a straight forward climb with some of the most amazing views in the world. Camp placement is excellent with travel times about 4 hours between camps. Summit day is about 10 hours from C3 to the summit and back. A true gem of a mountain!

The trip is best suited experienced climbers who want to gain experience for climbing higher peaks in the future. We recommend excellent fitness and confidence travelling as part of a roped climbing team.
