About Ganesh Adventures
Ganesh Adventures aims to provide first class expedition planning, support and education to a wide variety of adventure travelers and mountaineers throughout the world. We offer mountain holidays and climbing expeditions of all difficulties. From fully guided trips to basic expedition support, we have something for you.
Our Goal
We aim to expose our members to trip areas that may have been either previously unknown or out of reach to them in the past. Although we proudly offer expeditions and treks to many of the popular and classic areas in the Himalayas, we also endeavor to share the most rugged and remote places with our trip members. These little knows areas offer not only peace and quiet but moreover, a rich cultural experience that many of the more classic trips have lost.
How do we do it?
Ganesh Adventures operates with a very minimum of overhead and operational costs. All of our staff and guides work from their homes in Canada, USA & the United Kingdom. Therefore, we don't have to add additional costs to our trips. This model saves our trip members a significant amount of money in the end. Just shop around, you'll see.
The Environment
Ganesh Adventures is proud to be a paper free organization. All of our correspondences and literature are transfers electronically. We take great pride in our continued support of the environmental movement and always take the time to go the extra mile towards preserving the environment we hold so dearly; not only at home but also while we are in the field.
Leave no Trace?
During all of our trips, Ganesh Adventures does its very best to operate on Leave No Trace principles. We work with local authorities and organizations to improve environmental awareness among porters, local guides and anyone else who cares to listen. Although Leave No Trace is very difficult to practice in some countries, we always comply with local laws as well as work to improve and educate on the environment.
